![]() ![]() ![]() This game does have a fairly predictable story, but there isn't much tedium (yet, at least, as I type this I am at the Felyne island), and the ability to stack multiple quests cuts down on that, whereas in MHG you couldn't, say, go kill a monster, slaughter several weaker monsters, and gather all at one time (unless they were subquests). Previous Monster Hunter games were pretty tedious, having to repeat the same quest over and over in order to get enough materials (or, if you have my luck, to get that one specific monster part), but had no real story. It arrived September 8th and I am at 20 hours of playtime. I preordered the game (still have not received my codes from Amazon, though it looks like that's pretty common right now, will update if and when they send them), and have to say I'm pretty impressed. ![]()
